To Daddy With Love
Daddy you have been the pillar of my life
to hold me, catch me whenever I fall
You held my hand, took baby steps with me,
and when it was time you held my hand again and again, walked with me with my many firsts
first day at school, during my exams, sports day, picinic day, graduation day, walking down
the aisle and even when I had my first darling daughter you were right beside me.
You can always make me smile
Even when I am mad at you
You have always been there through all my happy and hard times
You held n hugged me when I Cried
You scolded me when I was wrong
Your head held high when I succeed
& You show faith in me when I Fail
You always say No at first but then agree to all my wants
You treat me like a little girl whose 3 even when she is 30 with the same love, affection
and concern
More than anything else you always believed in me
You are my friend, my hero, my guide, a comedian and above all My Daddy who will never give
up on me!
P.S : Not only on Father's day but everyday I love you Heaps Daddy!

Mumbai My Muse, My Love, My Addiction!
I am Mumbai
The city of dreams
The city that never sleeps
I have my own culture
I have formed my own tradition
I am Mumbai the city of dreams
People dwell on me
Here they thrive
Here they shine
Here they dare to dream
I am Mumbai the city of dreams
From street vendors
To street food
From murmuring traffic to twinkling cars
From multi-millionaires to movie stars.
I have it all
I am Mumbai the city of dreams
Where Crowded trains are almost on time,
Spirit of its passengers always sublime
Here changes happen overnight
City of unusual weather,
I am Mumbai the city of dreams
From Multi-lingual to multi-religious,
I wouldn’t be wrong; if I say,
It’s a city where country comes together,
Mumbai the city of dreams
Every city has its ups and downs and she is no different.
She gives me an identity and makes me proud.
City where I was born,
The city were I want to depart
My city, My Mumbai!
My Muse, My Love, My Addiction!

The whooshing sound!
It's the whooshing sound effect! Every four weeks I have been visiting my doctor for regular check ups and every time the doctor takes his fetal heart beat machine I lie in excitement as each time we hear the fetal heart beat.
First time we heard the fetal heart beat it sounded more like a fast race car sound with its windows down effect. On our second visit the heart beat of the baby sounded more like a fast express train passing by in speed. On our third visit baby's heart beat sounded more like a dogs bark. Oops I said that to my doc and he laughed his head out saying that's the first one he has ever heard.
Cut to our famous Bollywood Hindi movies where the songs related to beating of the heart sounds like Dhak Dhak! And all these years I was in the illusion that the heart for sure may sound like dhak dhak when it beats and thus reminded me of Madhuri clad in yellow saree and the all time perfect timing of the rains that drenched her saree as she sang the famous Dhak Dhak song!

The Tummy Tickle
The Tummy Tickle
You know how I feel
It’s like butterflies fluttering its wings
It’s a thousand feeling of happiness
When you tickle my tummy
Oh! Girl I feel good
You know how I feel
When after a long day I sleep weary or after a meal
And you start kicking
It makes me smile making all those weariness vanish
Like a touch of magic wand
Oh! Girl I feel good
You know how I feel
It’s a new dawn
A new day
It’s a new life inside me
Oh! Girl I feel good
You know how I feel
Like you can listen to me
Get a glimpse of me
The sun shining high
The breeze blowing my hair
Oh! Girl I feel good
And you make me feel good!
You know how I feel
It’s like butterflies fluttering its wings
It’s a thousand feeling of happiness
When you tickle my tummy
Oh! Girl I feel good
You know how I feel
When after a long day I sleep weary or after a meal

Like you can listen to me
Get a glimpse of me
The sun shining high
The breeze blowing my hair
Oh! Girl I feel good
And you make me feel good!
The feeling of Life
A feeling of a new life
A feeling of change
A feeling when I saw you inside me moving your hands and feet
Doing somersaults and making faces, gave me tears
A feeling I feel everyday for you
That of love, love and only love
You grow inside me and take all that you need to grow
Strong, healthy and to cope when you come to our world
I feel my mood change, my body change and tired sometimes
I feel the way you make me feel
Someday in tears, in joy, in peace, in happiness or a total freak sometimes
It’s the feeling of being a mother to you my little one
Is the only feeling I can’t express
Coz its you I will feel for rest of my life
A feeling of change
A feeling when I saw you inside me moving your hands and feet
Doing somersaults and making faces, gave me tears
A feeling I feel everyday for you
That of love, love and only love
You grow inside me and take all that you need to grow

Mumbai My Muse & It's Unusual Welcome!
She manages to look beautiful and in her best form even at 3:00 am in the morning dusk. The aerial view from the aircraft as you land into her arms is breath taking and yet so comforting as she welcomes you to the city of dreams. Mumbai!
As her tummy starts to tickle with excitement as in some roller coaster ride to the city. She manages to set her entangled hair straight & look somewhat human to her awaiting folks so they dont pass unrecognised. She lands the city of Dreams. The city which vouches to never sleep or even blink.A city were she built her hopes, fear, happiness, love, life and all of it.
As she landed making her way to the emigration office she hopped right onto the escalator she saw millions and millions of heads from above and as she came closer to the lower level there she came close to reality were she became a part of those million crowd being just a stranger to the people and to the city. That's when she understood the plight of those thousands of tourist who visit her country everyday or year.
She managed to get her way out after tons of pushing and excusing herself with those heavy suitcase and finally entering the so called line which has no end.
As she stood there wondering when the line would come to an end there pops in a group of 10 odd people cutting the line and boom stands right in front of her as though she was non existent to them. She mutters "Welcome to the Mumbainess" not to forget the add on of 35 degree temperature at 4:00 in the morning.
After a long wait of some odd hours finally making her way out of the emigration line taking with her all those sweaty smell from the crowd. There she bumps into another sweaty crowd to the baggage claim where a dozen of people wanting to offer their helping hand with her most heavy weight bags in exchange of money and some free advice which you get either ways.
On her way to the so called"Green Channel" wonder why is called so? which by her defination is nothing but offering or by force giving away your hard earned dollars to the so called custom officer animal who is anxiously
awaiting to find some prey for his morning glory.
So after loosening some dollars from her so called India fund she gets royal service from the Pandu. It's called " The Pandu Servie" which is a special escort service to the exit of the Airport.
Conclusion to the above para: One needs to either not travel alone with so many suitcases of heavy baggage specially if you are a women or have some sort of influence be it any kind in the airport in order to save those hard earned dollars.
By the experience she had in like an hour of landing she wonders,Is this the very country she calls her own or is it the country where she currently dwells her own, were the least she doesn't get conned in various forms.
The city of Dreams which by now was all different and came in the unseen form to her.It wasn't the same city anymore that she cherished half her life. The city had changed so much or was it her perception towards the city that was changed? she wondered...
Mumbai you amuse me in every possible way be it "Of The People, By The People, For The People"!
